This March Break, come explore our new temporary exhibit, A Fantastical Medical Bestiary, during March of the Museums. From unicorns to mermaids to dragons, step into a world where medicine, natural history, and mythology come together.
Enjoy an exclusive first look at our newly renovated Children’s Gallery, featuring brand new interactives and activities for families. Build a flying dragon, a sparkling unicorn, or an enchanting mermaid. Then, mix your own mythological potion based on your creation.
For one week only, admission to the Canadian Museum of Health Care is free. Drop in from Monday, March 16th to Friday, March 20th, 10 am – 4 pm to get crafty and let your imagination run wild!
On Monday, March 16, at 1 pm, we are delighted to welcome Professor Daryn Lehoux, Head of the Department of Classics & Archaeology at Queen’s University, for a fascinating presentation on ancient understandings of the natural world.
Don’t miss the chance to explore how myth and medicine met in the history of health care during March Break!
