Get ready for a little magic, a lot of laughter, and a happily-ever-after! Domino Theatre invites audiences of all ages to experience Cinderella, a lively fairy-tale pantomime by Richard Linley, with music by Michael Capon, running November 26 to December 12, 2026.
This beloved story gets the pantomime treatment, bringing its familiar characters and timeless charm to the stage in a theatrical adventure filled with humour, music, and romance.
At the heart of the story is Cinderella, a plucky young orphan forced to endure an oppressed existence under the thumb of her wicked stepmother and two ugly stepsisters. But Cinderella's fortunes are about to change. With help from her loyal friend Buttons, a young aristocrat named Dandini, and a determined—but decidedly inexperienced—Fairy Godmother, she discovers that even the humblest beginnings can lead to extraordinary possibilities. As magic and mayhem unfold, Cinderella's journey leads her toward the ultimate fairy-tale ending: marriage to her Prince Charming.
Pantomime is a theatrical tradition celebrated for its larger-than-life characters, broad comedy, audience engagement, and playful storytelling. Cinderella offers an opportunity for families and theatre lovers to share in the fun of a classic fairy tale brought to life on stage.
The production brings together an experienced creative team. Richard Linley provides the book and artistic direction, while Michael Capon oversees his original score and musical direction. Choreography is by Hayley Scanlan.
Whether you're continuing a family holiday tradition or looking for an entertaining seasonal outing, Cinderella promises an enchanting theatrical experience filled with laughter, music, and fairy-tale magic.
