Day of Remebrance

This is a pre-Remembrance Day ceremony held at the military plot at the Cataraqui Cemetery each year. About 100 kids show up each year, along with veterans placing wreaths on the cenotaph. As well as the ceremony itself, which is at 11 a.m. on Nov. 10, we are also hoping for volunteers to place Canadian flags on the military graves elsewhere in the cemetery on Nov. 6.
