Epilepsy South Eastern Ontario's Annual Pull Together for Epilepsy Firetruck Pull is one of the most exciting and impactful community events of the year! Held every third Sunday in July in front of City Hall at 216 Ontario Street, this high-energy challenge brings teams, families, local businesses, and supporters together for an unforgettable day of strength, spirit, and solidarity.

Teams of eight participants raise a set minimum amount to enter the pull, earning their spot to take on the ultimate challenge: pulling a 37,000-pound fire truck a full 100 feet. This distance represents the 1 in 100 people living with epilepsy, and every team pull helps raise awareness while showing meaningful support for those affected.

Spectators line the streets to cheer on the teams, and there’s no shortage of excitement thanks to awards for Best Team Spirit, Best Costumes, Fastest Pull Time, Overall Performance, and of course, the coveted championship trophy.

All funds raised stay local and support essential epilepsy programs across South Eastern Ontario, including education, seizure first aid training, counselling, and support groups for individuals and caregivers.
