There is so much we can learn about the mind. For example, Buddha taught that the main causes of our happiness and unhappiness lie within our mind: Positive states like love, patience and wisdom bring peace, while anger and attachment lead to pain.
In these classes, we will explore the drawbacks of deluded states of mind, and learn how to position our mind in positive ways that provide the strength and resilience we need when faced with life’s changes and challenges.
What to Expect:
These classes include two guided meditations and a practical talk on a weekly topic. After each class, there is time for Q&A. Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. You do not need to bring anything with you, and the meditation is conducted on chairs. No special clothing is required. No pre-registration is necessary.
The Teacher:
Gen Kelsang Chöyang is the Resident Teacher at Kuluta Buddhist Centre. She has been studying under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years.
