Drawing from his book The Lives of Lake Ontario: An Environmental History, Daniel Macfarlane will cover the lake’s reciprocal relationships with the different people groups that have occupied its shores. Showing the many ways that humans have negatively affected Lake Ontario, this presentation will point to the ways that it is both vulnerable and resilient.

A book signing will follow the talk. Books will be available for sale by Novel Idea.
