What's Good in Kingston - Partners in Mission Foodbank is growing

Looking at the new cooler, just like a grocery store, clients will open the door for their milk, eggs, veggies, etc.milk, eggs, veggies, etc.

They need your help getting to the finish line

Like most foodbanks across the country, the Partners In Mission Foodbank serving Kingston and Loyalist Township has seen a dramatic increase in demand.

Executive Director Dan Irwin provided KingstonDaily.ca some startling numbers

They've been fortunate to secure a new, larger location to meet the growing demand, just west of their current Hickson Avenue home. Dan states the move will make a world of difference to residents in need.

Without donations from the public, the vital services that they provide to those most in need would disappear.

Making a donation is as easy as going to kingstonfoodbank.ca and clicking on the donation tab. 92 cents of every dollar given goes directly to food hampers. In the face of our food insecurity crisis, this is the time to make a real difference.
