Here's everything you need to know before voting ion February 27th
Elections Ontario is making it easier for residents to cast their ballots in the upcoming snap election.
To be eligible, voters must be Canadian citizens, at least 18 years old, and reside in Ontario. Those not yet registered can update their information at registertovoteon.ca to receive a voter information card. These cards, mailed this week, provide details on assigned voting locations.
To vote, bring the voter information card and one piece of ID showing your name. If no card is received, a valid ID with both name and address is required—photo ID is not necessary.
Voting by mail requires an online application for a mail-in kit by 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21st. Completed kits must be received by February 27. In-person early voting is available until February 26, with advance polls running Thursday to Saturday.
On Election Day, polls are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
