Centennial Family Physicians awarded $30K grant

Cash goes to essential clinic upgrades

Centennial Family Physicians has received a $30,523.55 grant from the City of Kingston’s Primary Care Clinic Grant program. The funding will be used for vital renovations to expand clinical space and purchase necessary medical equipment. The upgrades will support the clinic’s future growth and help improve technological capabilities.

Dr. Lou Battel, a lead physician at Centennial Family Physicians, emphasized the importance of the grant in allowing the clinic to better serve the community. “This funding has helped us accomplish critical preparations, bringing us closer to providing the services our patients need,” he said.

The City of Kingston’s Primary Care Clinic Expansion Grant aims to increase access to primary care for unattached patients. It provides one-time financial support of up to $100,000 for clinic improvements, including technology upgrades, administrative support, and additional healthcare professionals.
