United Way KFL&A is hosting a rec carpet event

United Way KFL&A is hosting a special event featuring a screening of The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal.

The event will take place Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts and includes a red carpet experience and the first two episodes of the docuseries, fresh from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).

myFM spoke with Joanne Langlois, 2024 Campaign Chair, who told us more about the event.

All ticket proceeds will go to United Way KFL&A’s 2024 fundraising campaign.

The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal is a four-part TV documentary series that will be released on Prime Video worldwide later this year. Directed by Mike Downie, the series tells the story of the famous Canadian rock band The Tragically Hip. It includes interviews with the band members and other well-known people like actors Will Arnett, Dan Aykroyd, and broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos.
