Fatal e-bike collision under investigation in Kingston

The Kingston Police Traffic Unit is investigating a tragic collision that occurred on November 2, 2024, around 7:40 p.m. A 47-year-old Kingston woman was riding an electric bicycle when she was struck by a pick-up truck at the intersection of Bath Road and Armstrong Road.

According to initial reports, the woman was crossing Bath Road towards Armstrong Road when the truck turned left onto Bath Road from Armstrong Road. 

A passerby administered first aid until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to the hospital, where she sadly succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this time.
