Get to know Kingston's history with a past Premier

Dalton McGuinty set to stroll at 7pm

You can take a stroll with one of Ontario's longest serving Premier's this evening.

Dalton McGuinty, Ontario’s 24th premier, will be the special guest of honour in Kingston as he joins Arthur Milnes of the publication, "National Newswatch" for a unique walking tour of Kingston’s downtown.

The tour, part of Milnes’ popular Art’s History series, starts at 7 pm outside Kingston City Hall and lasts over an hour.

This tour will spotlight both past and present political stories.

McGuinty is the fourth Ontario premier to participate, following in the footsteps of Bob Rae, Kathleen Wynne, and David Peterson. The event has also featured other notable Canadians like former Prime Ministers Paul Martin and John Turner, astronaut Marc Garneau, and former Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin.

Tickets can be purchased at Kingston Walks. Don't miss this chance to walk through history with Dalton McGuinty.
