Kingston and Frontenac offers home repair solutions

Stay in your home longer

Homeowners in Kingston and Frontenac County can now apply for the Kingston-Frontenac Renovates Program (KFRP) for urgent home repairs or accessibility upgrades. The program provides forgivable loans up to $15,000 for essential repairs and grants up to $5,000 for accessibility improvements.

To qualify, homeowners must continue living in their home for ten years, making the loan fully forgivable. The funding is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so residents are encouraged to apply quickly.

The KFRP is a valuable opportunity for those needing critical repairs or upgrades to maintain safe and accessible homes. Whether it's fixing a leaky roof, upgrading wiring, or adding ramps for accessibility, the program aims to help local homeowners live comfortably and independently.
