Kingston Community Climate Action Fund open for non-profits

The KCCAF is now accepting applications from non-profits until September 16th

The Kingston Community Climate Action Fund (KCCAF) is now accepting applications from non-profits until September 16th.

If your organization has a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy efficiency, minimize waste, or support climate adaptation, this fund can help.

Each year, the City of Kingston invites local charities to apply. The Kingston Environmental Advisory Forum (KEAF) reviews applications to ensure they meet eligibility requirements. Selected projects are then recommended to City Council for funding approval.

Once approved, project summaries are posted online, and residents can support their favorite initiatives by donating through Canada Helps or at a Kingston Community Credit Union (KCCU) branch. Donations over $20 are eligible for tax receipts.

Non-profits interested in applying should sign up or log in to MyKingston to complete the online application.
