Almost four months jailtime handed down
Timothy C. Boddy, 49, of Kingston, was sentenced to nearly four months in jail after assaulting two police officers during an arrest in October 2024. Boddy pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a peace officer and breaching his probation.
The court heard that Boddy had been placed on probation in June 2023 and failed to complete anger management courses by his deadline. A warrant was issued for his arrest in October when he was spotted by police. During the arrest, Boddy struck Const. Ryan Monday in the face and shoved Const. Blake Kettyle.
Boddy received 115 days in jail for the assaults, plus seven additional days for breaching his probation. He was given credit for time already served since his arrest. Boddy was also sentenced to 12 months' probation, ordered to attend counseling for anger management and addiction, and banned from owning weapons for five years.
