Update: Suspect arrested in Kingston's latest murder

Tied to Sunday morning homicide

Early on August 4, 2024, Kingston Police responded to an assault at an apartment near Cassidy Street and Montreal Street.

The victim, 34-year-old Jordan Greene of Kingston, was found with multiple stab wounds. Emergency services quickly transported Greene to the hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries.

Greene and the accused, 19-year-old Keenan Gould, were at a mutual acquaintance’s gathering but did not know each other. This incident is unrelated to another recent homicide in Kingston.

After a swift investigation, Kingston Police Major Crime Unit arrested Gould on August 5, 2024, charging him with second-degree murder. He remains in custody after a bail hearing.
