Kingston Police seize $135,000 in drugs

And they got more during Bath resident’s arrest

Kingston Police have arrested a 48-year-old Bath resident following an investigation into drug trafficking. The arrest happened on November 29, 2024, during a traffic stop near Highway 401 and Odessa.

Officers searched the suspect’s vehicle and home, seizing 1,013.5 grams of cocaine, 336 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and a large amount of Canadian cash. The street value of the items is estimated at $135,000.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and breach of a release order. Police confirmed the individual was already on judicial release for similar offences.

Kingston Police highlighted their ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking through intelligence-led operations and community engagement.
