Kingston Transit upgrades service

New route changes starting September 3rd

Beginning September 3, Kingston Transit will implement several route adjustments to better serve its customers and reach new areas of the city.

Major routes, including Express 501/502 and 701/702, will now offer 15-minute service, while most other routes will run every 30 minutes. This update also introduces expanded service to Westbrook and Providence Care Hospital, responding to growing demand and feedback from residents.

Christopher Norris, General Manager of Kingston Transit, stated, “We are committed to enhancing our service based on customer input. Our goal is to make transit a convenient option with frequent service where it’s needed most.”

Transit customers can find detailed information about the new schedules on Kingston Transit’s website and through trip planning apps like Transit App. This upgrade aims to make commuting easier and more efficient for everyone in Kingston.
