Ontario doctors urge voters to prioritize healthcare crisis as election looms

The province is heading to the polls, and while Trump and tariffs are taking the spotlight, doctors say another critical issue needs to be top of mind when casting your ballot. 

Ontario’s health care crisis continues, with 2.5 million residents without a family doctor—a number expected to hit 4.4 million next year, according to HealthForceOntario.

The Ontario Medical Association calls for urgent reforms, stressing that Ontarians deserve better access to care.

With an election looming, doctors push for immediate action.
