Police identify pedestrian killed in Highway 401 crash in Kingston

Investigation into fatal collision continues

The Frontenac OPP has identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed on Highway 401 in Kingston.

The collision happened on January 16, 2025, just after 1:30 a.m., between the Highway 15 and Montreal Street exits. Police confirmed the deceased is a 67-year-old man from Kingston. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OPP thanked the public for helping identify the victim. His family has been notified.
