Temporary restrictions in place at KGH site main entrance on Nov. 27

Take note! Changes for one day only

Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KHSC) is advising patients, families, visitors, and staff of temporary restrictions to vehicle access at the KGH site main entrance on Wednesday, Nov. 27, due to paving work. While the main entrance doors will remain open, vehicle traffic will be rerouted.

Drivers dropping off or picking up patients, visitors, or staff should use the Armstrong entrance along Lower University Avenue. Security personnel will be on-site to direct traffic, and signage will be posted for guidance.

Non-urgent patient transfer vehicles, police, funeral home, and Coroner’s office vehicles will still be permitted to enter through the ‘exit lane’ by Etherington Hall. The small parking lot outside the main entrance will also be closed. Visitors are encouraged to park in the underground garage on Stuart Street and use the underground tunnel to access the hospital.

Paving work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Nov. 27.
