Loyalist Link Transit Pilot launched

New transit service started in Loyalist

Loyalist Township is launching Loyalist Link, a new transit service pilot beginning Monday, to improve transportation for residents in Bath, Odessa, and the Amherst Island Ferry Terminal area.

This fixed-route service connects communities to key employment hubs, including the Taylor-Kidd Industrial Park and Loyalist East Business Park.

Funded through a $192,000 Community Transportation Grant, Community Connection Funding, and Provincial Gas Tax support, Loyalist Link will also connect riders to Kingston’s Gardiners Town Centre and the Cataraqui Town Centre, via Route 10 in Amherstview. Riders can conveniently use Kingston Transit Fare Passes for this service.

The pilot will run until December 31st, 2025, allowing the township to assess its impact and make improvements as needed. By enhancing access to essential services and jobs, Loyalist Link promises to strengthen community mobility and accessibility.
