Today & Tomorrow: Kingston’s 194th Fall Fair rolls on with farm animals, culinary creations and plenty of horsepower. Families can enjoy the midway, draft horse pull and Holstein cattle show before revving up for the 7 p.m. demolition derby at Kingston Memorial Centre.
Today: As the Fall Fair continues into Sunday, tonight has a special competition! Our own Big G from New Country 98.9 will be hosting the Country Showdown! This will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Amateur country singers from Kingston and the surrounding area compete for cash prizes
Tomorrow: Kingston’s Fall Harvest Market brings autumn fun to the Kingston Shrine Club tomorrow. Visitors can browse artisan crafts, baked goods, food vendors and finds from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, with raffle proceeds supporting Kingston Humane Society.
Tomorrow: Breast Cancer Action Kingston hosts its annual Walk for Awareness tomorrow at Lake Ontario Park. Participants can enjoy games, a kids’ zone and silent auction while raising funds for local breast health programs and research.
Tomorrow: The Howe Island Terry Fox Run takes place tomorrow, welcoming walkers, runners, rollers and cyclists of all ages. The non-competitive event raises funds for cancer research, with participants encouraged to register, fundraise or make a personal donation.

The Kingston Frontenacs will kick off their home opener game this Sunday at 3 p.m.
In football, the Queen's Gaels face the Ravens tomorrow.
In recreational sports, plenty of open spots for a variety of sessions throughout the day
