Today: Kingston band Hellhound Trail brings Van Morrison’s music to life at the Kingston Grand Theatre today. The blues, rock, soul and roots performance blends live music, storytelling and visuals, taking audiences through four chapters of life, from youth and love to loss and renewal.
Today: Kingston WritersFest continues today, bringing another full day of author talks, workshops and literary conversations. The festival covers everything from fantasy and historical fiction to poetry, humour and short stories, with plenty of chances for readers and writers to connect and learn.
Tomorrow: Ruby’s Acres Alpaca Farm hosts its fifth annual Fall Farm Market in Odessa, featuring alpaca feeding, local artisan vendors, food vendors and more. The family-friendly event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering a chance to explore the farm and shop local.
Tomorrow: Forman Farms hosts its annual Pumpkin Smashing and Corn Maze event in Seeley’s Bay tomorrow and Sunday. Families can tackle the corn maze and obstacle course, enjoy wagon rides, decorate pumpkins and watch pumpkin cannons and a trebuchet fire every hour.
Tomorrow: Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area hosts a Bug Safari tomorrow, inviting families to explore trails and wetlands in search of insects. Participants can use dip nets to discover aquatic bugs, then spot butterflies, beetles and grasshoppers in the fields and forest.

The Kingston Frontenacs next game day is tonight at Slush Puppie Place where Kingston will host the Peterborough Petes.
Meanwhile, the Queens Gaels take on the Western Mustangs on Saturday in London.
