Today: Environmental professionals, contractors and community members can learn about winter road salt management during the Eastern Ontario Salt Symposium today at 1 p.m. Hosted online by Cataraqui Conservation, the webinar will explore the impact of road salt on freshwater systems, responsible application practices, industry challenges and training opportunities. The event also features expert presentations and a panel discussion, offering participants a chance to learn more about balancing public safety with environmental stewardship. Registration is required.
Tomorrow: Halloween returns to the Canadian Museum of Health Care with Sips & Spirits 2: Choose Your Nightmare tomorrow night from 6 to 9 p.m. This 19+ interactive experience invites guests to become an Apothecary Witch, Dracula or Doctor Frankenstein, solving clues and exploring the museum after dark. The evening concludes with themed photo opportunities, drinks from Daft Brewing, music, dancing and plenty of spooky fun. Costumes are encouraged.

The Kingston Frontenacs next game day is this Friday against the Peterborough Petes with a puck drop at 7:05 p.m. on home ice. Heading into the weekend, the Brantford Bulldogs will be coming to Kingston on Sunday.
Meanwhile, for Queens Football, the OUA Quarterfinals start this Saturday.
To the PJHL, the Amherstview Jets will visit the Picton Pirates tomorrow.
