What's Good in Kingston: Habitat for Humanity 50/50 Raffle

The raffle aims to boost local homebuilding with Brick by Brick fundraiser.

Habitat for Humanity Kingston Limestone Region has launched its new Brick by Brick 50/50 Raffle, giving residents a chance to win cash while helping local families access affordable housing. The online raffle runs until December 15th, with the winning ticket drawn on December 16th at Habitat’s office on Gardiners Road.

Community engagement manager, Rosa Mordasiewicz explains more.

Tickets start at $5, with bundle options up to 50 tickets for $100. As of this week, the total pot sits at $180, with half going to the winner. The jackpot is expected to rise as sales continue.

Mordasiewicz tells us how to enter.

Habitat says every ticket directly supports home construction projects across the region. Funds will help build foundations, walls and completed homes for families in need.

Mordasiewicz says that this 50/50 raffle aims to fund smaller essential items.

The organization says the raffle is an easy way for residents to make a difference close to home. The winner will be contacted directly to claim their prize.
