The Mending Hearts with Declyn Lemonade Stand was put on by his siblings to raise money for UHKF.
There are not too many lemonade stands can rake in five-figures in one day.
Hundreds were at the Mending Hearts with Declyn Lemonade Stand on Aug. 30 for some lemonade, sno cones, baked goods, and more.
The 4th annual fundraising event, put on by Ryder and Jordyn Carman and their friend Grady, finished with a total of $11,075.
Ryder and Jordyn's mother, Amanda McArthur, says it's been a few weeks since the event and they were still counting the money that was collected.
There were vehicles seen parked along Old Colony Road and Bayridge Drive.
McArthur says it's becoming so popular that at one-point they were having trouble keeping up with the demand.
The lemonade stand was in memory of Declyn Carman, Ryder and Jordyn's brother, who died in 2022 at the age of three-months of a congenital heart defect called atrioventricular septal defect.
McArthur says the response from the community has been nothing short of incredible.
There will be a cheque presentation to the University Hospital Kingston Foundation on Sept. 29, which is Declyn's birthday.
