Enjoy food, beverages, and live entertainment at the Memorial Centre this weekend.
It will be a weekend for the taste buds.
The Kingston Ribfest and Craft Beer Show is happening at the Kingston Memorial Centre fairgrounds this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
This will be the 12th year of the festival which will feature more than a dozen craft brewers and around 8 different ribbers.
Event manager Guy Exley says what started as a showcase of the local craft brewers now includes cider, spirits, and other beverage makers.
On the food side, there will be vendors offering a variety of food options including vegetarian and gluten-free items.
But the main attraction will be the ribs.
All the barbecuers are from Ontario and Exley says they have developed into some of the best in the world.
The festival will feature a kids fun zone and live entertainment.
Exley says this is an opportunity for people to experience a post-Labour-Day weekend of food and enjoyment.
Admission to the Kingston Ribfest and Craft Beer Show is free.
