The MoleMobile will be at Taylor Auto Mall this Saturday and Monday.
A free mobile clinic is coming to Kingston to help people get checked for melanoma and skin cancer.
The MoleMobile brings certified dermatologists to small communities and areas where there are few dermatologists available.
CEO of Melanoma Canada Falyn Katz says there are not many dermatologists around who can determine whether the moles on your body are cancerous.
The travelling unit is the first of its kind in Canada.
It will make a stop in Kingston at Taylor Auto Mall (Princess at Centennial) this Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm and Monday from 10 am to 4 pm.
The clinic accepts only walk-in patients.
Katz explains what to expect when people go to these clinics.
Rates of melanoma and skin cancer continue to rise in Canada with one in three cancers diagnosed being skin cancer.
Katz says early detection of melanoma and skin cancer are largely treatable.
She says they have been able to help a lot of people since launching the MoleMobile earlier this year.
The MoleMobile will also be in Belleville at Quinte Mall on Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
