What's Good in Kingston: Welcome Nights

An evening designed to connect professionals and community members in a relaxed social setting.

Kingston Economic Development (KED), in partnership with KEYS is proud and excited to announce the first Kingston Welcome Night of 2026 will happen on January 13th at Something in the Water Brewing Company on Princess Street. KED's Rob Tamblyn tells us what these successful and popular events are.

Whether you’re new to Kingston, relocating for work, returning to your roots, or simply expanding your professional network, you are welcomed to attend a Welcome Night, an evening designed to connect professionals and community members in a relaxed social setting. Rob says the mix of new and returning participants represents a good mix of the business community.

The evenst offer a chance to meet others who live and work in the area, build valuable relationships, and explore opportunities in Kingston’s dynamic professional community. It helps lessen the isolation that can affect everyone, especially entrepreneurs and supports closer connections that lead to success according to Rob.

Welcome Nights run from 5 pm to 6:30 pm and there's no cost to attend but registration is required. Find out more at investkingston.ca under the events tab.
