Ready for take-off!
The 4th annual Wheels on the Runway, presented by Hartington Equipment and sponsored by NAV CANADA, is back, and this year brings a thrilling new highlight: The SkyHawks, Canada’s military parachute team, performing a live air show with mid-air formations and jumps!
It's taking place on Saturday September 20th from 10 am to 2 pm at the YGK Airport.
United Way KFLA President and CEO John Dipaolo tells us what the event does for area residents and visitors.
It's hosted by the City of Kingston as part of their workplace campaign for the United Way. The tarmac at YGK Airport on Len Birchall Way will be full of interesting displays and vehicles for all ages as John reports.
The parachute demonstration is scheduled for noon. The event helps the United Way support 50 member agencies who's work is vital for area residents as John explains.
Parking is free and Kingston Transit is providing a free shuttle.
