Heating up with three straight wins as the Frontenacs get set to host the top team in the OHL.
The Kingston Frontenacs are heading into the holiday break with new momentum after posting three straight wins and climbing the OHL’s Eastern Conference standings.
On the weekly What’s Good with the Kingston Frontenacs? podcast, the team's Colton Robb says the turnaround followed a 7-3 home win over Oshawa that snapped a nine-game losing streak.
Kingston followed that with a 4-3 victory over the Western Conference-leading Windsor Spitfires before closing the week with a 3-0 shutout against Oshawa. The six-point week moved the Frontenacs into sixth place, firmly back in the playoff picture.
Robb says the standings remain tight, but the recent surge has changed the outlook.
The Frontenacs return home Friday for a special holiday game against league-leading Brantford Bulldogs.
The night includes loonie hot dogs, a holiday theme, Santa Claus, and family-friendly promotions.
