Kingston Police introducing new collision reporting tool

There is a new online tool available to Kingston residents to report minor vehicle collisions.

Kingston Police are introducing Start from Home, an online reporting system where residents can report collisions that resulted in minimal damage from their computer or smart device.

People can input key information such as personal details, the other party’s information, passengers and witness details, and a statement.

Users will receive a reference number after completion which they take along with their vehicle to the Collision Reporting Centre.

In a news release, Start from Home will streamline the process, and enable faster service, especially during busy periods, as it allows citizens to start their reports in advance.

Kingston Police say this new tool will allow them to continue their efforts in improving customer service at the CRC located at their headquarters on Division St.

Start from Home is available now and can be accessed by going to the Kingston Police website.
