A Kingston resident is one of four facing charges.
Several police forces across Ontario helped uncover a drug trafficking ring in Kingston.
Members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit, OPP Central Hastings Community Street Crime Unit, and OPP Peterborough/Northhumberland Street Crime Unit began a joint investigation earlier this year.
Investigators with Kingston Police say they were targeting a Kingston resident who they believed was distributing drugs to neighbouring regions.
They spotted the suspect's vehicle and conducted a traffic stop last Tuesday.
A search of the vehicle turned up one kilogram of pressed cocaine with a street value of around $100,000.
Several search warrants were executed at a home near Bath Road and Armstrong Road in Kingston as well as residences in North York and Marmora.
Officers recovered the following:
• 112 grams of MDMA
• 43 Oxycocet pills
• 2022 Mazda CX-9
• .22 calibre long rifle
• Conducted energy weapon
• Two bulletproof vests
• Canadian currency
• Three cell phone
• 350 rounds of .22 calibre hollow point ammunition
In total, over $143,000 worth of drugs were seized.
