Blue Jays fans invited to cheer under the stars at Springer Market Square for World Series watch parties

Game 1 of the best-of-seven goes Friday night in Toronto.

The City of Kingston will stream every World Series game on the big screen downtown.

Kingston is turning Springer Market Square into a fan zone as the Toronto Blue Jays head to the World Series for the first time since 1993.

The City of Kingston announced it will stream every game of the series on a massive inflatable screen, starting with Game 1 on Friday, October 24 at 8 p.m. Games will continue on Oct. 25, 27, 28, 29, 31, and Nov. 1.

Fans are encouraged to “bring their crew, wear their blue and cheer loud” as the Jays chase another championship.

The screenings will run rain or shine, with updates provided on city social media in case of severe weather. Attendees are advised to bring blankets, warm layers, and umbrellas for the outdoor experience.

Organizers say it’s the perfect chance for fans to gather and celebrate together, win or lose.
