Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston MPP John Jordan says the change will have a large impact on many lives.
John Jordan commented on a big shift for Health Care Connect, the provinces waiting list for primary care.
The MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston says they've changed a key requirement to add your name, for the better.
Previously, if you had a primary care provider like a family physician or nurse practitioner, you wouldn't qualify.
Jordan says the change will have a large impact on many lives.
The MPP calls the move a good shift and helps open Health Care Connect to do what it was meant to do - connect people to primary health care close to home.
