City opens public input on budget process

There is an online survey and a pop-up booth at this weekend's Princess St. promenade.

There will be plenty of opportunities for Kingston residents to have their say on the 2026 budget process.

The City has launched their 2026 budget engagement.

In a news release, treasurer Desiree Kennedy says this is an excellent way for people to get involved.

She says people can ask questions about how the City budget works, and give input and influence on how their tax dollars are spent.

People can take an online survey at Get Involved Kingston website until Nov. 2.

There will also be a pop-up booth set up during the Princess St. promenade this Saturday where staff will be available to answer questions.
