Old Docs New Tricks, comprised of Kingston area physicians, will be performing a benefit concert at the Broom Factory.
A concert is being held to support the artificial intelligence organ donation program at Kingston Health Sciences Centre.
It is taking place Friday June 20 at the Broom Factory on Rideau St.
The show will feature live music from Old Doc New Tricks, a band composed entirely of physicians from the Kingston area.
In a news release from the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, the artificial intelligence donation program is a way to improve the availability of an organ once a patient passes away.
They say this is to ensure more donors are able to give the gift of life.
They go on to say that only one-third of consented donation after circulatory death (DCD) candidates do not proceed as they do not die within established time limits for organ viability.
Tickets for the show are $75 each.
To purchase tickets and get more information on the concert, go to the UHKF website.
