A Toronto-area driver is facing charges.
A 21-year-old driver from North York is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped on Highway 401 in Kingston.
On August 23rd Frontenac OPP received a complaint about a vehicle being driven erratically eastbound on the highway.
An officer located and stopped the vehicle just after 9:15 p.m. when it exited at Division Street.
Police say the driver showed signs of alcohol use and failed a roadside breath test.
The individual, identified as Ezequiel Trejo, was arrested and transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
Trejo has been charged with Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drugs, and Operation While Impaired – blood alcohol concentration over 80.
He was released with an October court date, received a 90-day license suspension, and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.
