The first-ever HPV Test Fest is underway at the Midtown Kingston Health Home, offering a fresh and friendly way to get screened for cervical cancer.
The event celebrates Ontario’s new approach to cervical screening, which officially switched to HPV testing on March 3. Organizers say they want to help people understand the difference between HPV and the old Pap test — and get screened with confidence.
Testing is quick and easy, and the space is designed to be friendly and judgment-free. There are also free goodies, health info, and helpful staff ready to answer questions.
Anyone is welcome to drop by. Guests are encouraged to bring a friend and take charge of their health during this two-day event.
