Two sessions are taking place that will share ideas and experiences regarding primary healthcare in the region.
The County of Frontenac is looking to form a working group on the recruitment and retention of physician and health care professionals.
There are two sessions scheduled that will share ideas and experiences regarding primary healthcare in the region.
The sessions will be facilitated by Rob Wood, President & CEO of 8020Info Inc.
The first session is a virtual one that goes Mon. Sept. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the second take place at the Verona Lions Hall on Tues. Oct. 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m..
Some of the discussion will focus on:
- The challenges facing local family doctors and clinic staff
- The recent primary healthcare review
- Ways to support recruitment and retention of primary care professionals
- Proposed ideas for the local community working group as it forms
