Rideaucrest Long-Term Care Home receives highest accreditation level for safety and quality of resident care.
Rideaucrest Long-Term Care Home has earned the highest possible rating from Accreditation Canada, reinforcing its long-standing reputation for safe, high-quality resident care.
The municipally operated home received the designation of Accredited with Exemplary Standing, a result that followed an intensive evaluation of safety, health services and workplace conditions under the Qmentum Long Term Care program. The voluntary accreditation process happens every four years and measures organizations against national and global standards.
Administrator Casie Keyes says the recognition reflects the dedication of every staff member and their commitment to continuous improvement. She adds that Rideaucrest has a long history of working with Accreditation Canada and maintaining strong performance, making this year’s top-tier result especially meaningful.
Rideaucrest, located along the Cataraqui River, has served Kingston for more than 35 years. The non-profit home provides 170 resident rooms and employs 250 staff who deliver comprehensive long-term care services across all areas of health and well-being.
