Police say the arrest follows an investigation into the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse and exploitation materials. During the search, officers seized evidence that led to multiple charges, including possession, making available and sharing of the illegal material.
The accused was taken to Kingston Police headquarters following the arrest. Police say he was held for a bail hearing as the investigation continues.
Kingston Police did not release further details but say the case highlights the ongoing effort to identify and stop the spread of child exploitation material in the community.
