Kingston police charge Toronto residents in drug investigation

Cocaine and multi-coloured fentanyl were among the drugs seized.

Two people from Toronto are charged in connection to a drug investigation in Kingston.

Kingston Police Street Crime Unit were investigating the distribution of cocaine and fentanyl.

They along with the Community Oriented Response and Engagement (C.O.R.E.) Unit executed a search warrant last Wednesday at a home in the area of Russell Street and Division Street.

Officers located 257.6 grams of multi-dyed fentanyl, two packages of cocaine (89.4 and 83.2 grams respectively), 33 MDMA pills, and 12 hydromorphone pills.

The total estimated street value of the drugs is around $48,000.

A 23-year-old and a 25-year-old were arrested and were held in custody pending bail hearings.
