
Police thanking community for anonymous tips
Kingston Police have taken a large quantity of cocaine off the streets.
Members of the special services unit were conducting an investigation into cocaine trafficking.
They along with the emergency response team and canine unit executed a search warrant at a home near Stephen Street and Montreal Street on Thursday.
Investigators say they found 237 grams of cocaine with a street value of around $25,000 inside the home.
There was also drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of Canadian cash.
A 42-year-old from Kingston was arrested at the scene and is facing a number of charges.
They say the investigation remains ongoing but are thanking the public for tips that led to the arrest.
