Providence Care is excited to announce the start of hiring for Kingston’s first hospice residence, set to open in winter 2025.
The 10-bed facility will provide specialized palliative care in a warm, home-like environment, offering comfort and dignity to individuals and their families during end-of-life care. The hospice residence is a significant milestone in a 10-year effort to meet the region's need for compassionate care.
Open positions include Registered Nurses (RN), Registered Practical Nurses (RPN), Personal Support Workers (PSW), Facilities Coordinator, Facilities Assistant, and Manager. Providence Care is seeking dedicated professionals passionate about delivering high-quality care.
Krista Wells Pearce, Vice President of Corporate Services and Executive Director of Hospice, expressed pride in the project’s progress and emphasized the importance of building a team of skilled professionals.
The hospice residence is located at Providence Village, 152 Phillips St., Kingston.
