A bright future for St. Geneviève students
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board proudly announces the opening of St. Geneviève Catholic School in Kingston's west end. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, students, families, staff, Board of Trustees, and local dignitaries gathered to celebrate the city's newest educational addition.
St. Geneviève Catholic School is a dual-stream institution, offering exceptional learning opportunities in both French and English. The state-of-the-art facility, funded in part by the province's capital investment program, includes 481 elementary student spaces, 20 learning studios, 10 learning commons, 4 childcare rooms with 73 licensed spaces, and 3 EarlyON Child and Family Centre rooms.
The new Catholic learning community officially welcomes students on Wednesday, September 4th, promising a bright future for education in Kingston.
