Everything is almost all back to normal after cyber security incident
The Limestone District School Board says it is making steady progress in restoring digital services after a recent cyber security incident.
Starting Monday, April 28, all school and Education Centre phone lines will be working again. Students are also receiving new passwords from their teachers or school administrators to regain access to online services. The board says students and staff can continue using the internet on Limestone devices.
External emails, which were down due to the cyber attack, are expected to start working again during the day on Monday. Families will also be able to report student absences through the SafeArrival system starting that morning.
The board says its team is working closely with cyber security experts to safely bring all systems back online. Limestone is thanking families, staff, and students for their patience and promises to share more updates as they become available.
