Massive drug bust leads to three arrests

Three people are facing dozens of charges after a major drug trafficking investigation connected to the Napanee, Frontenac and Kingston areas.

Ontario Provincial Police said the East Region Community Street Crime Unit began the investigation in April 2026.

Police stopped a vehicle in Napanee on May 13 as part of the investigation. Officers seized more than 500 grams of suspected methamphetamine and about $3,000 in cash.

Lindsay Patterson, a 41-year-old South Frontenac Township resident, was arrested and charged with drug trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, failing to comply with probation and breach of recognizance offences.

The following day, officers executed a search warrant at a Whitby home with help from the Durham Regional Police Service Tactical Unit.

Police said they seized two loaded firearms, a stolen Ford F-150, more than two kilograms of suspected cocaine, about 4.2 kilograms of suspected methamphetamine and more than 715 grams of MDMA. Suspected fentanyl, heroin and psilocybin were also recovered.

Two Whitby residents, 34-year-old Tullaram Naaraine, and 33-year-old Lisa Seetaram, were arrested and charged with multiple firearm, drug trafficking and property offences.

All three accused were held for bail hearings.
