Uniformed members of the Peace Support Training Centre will be in South Frontenac and Loyalist townships on Dec. 3.
The Canadian Armed Forces will be conducting training exercises in our area.
Students and instructors from the Peace Support Training Centre will be in uniform Wed. Dec. 3 to conduct Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) exercises in South Frontenac and Loyalist townships from 8 am to 4 pm.
In a news release, part of the training exercise includes students surveying areas, taking pictures, talking with local residents, and understanding the dynamics of the area.
Subsequently, the students will brief their findings and recommendation to the course Directing Staff at Peace Support Training Centre.
CAF says the training will have minimal impact on the community and no weapons will be present.
